Makerspace is a constructionist movement that is taking the world by storm! Imagine DIY meets education! A Makerspace presents readily-available materials that can act as a provocation for inquiry, as well as modern technology and items to create inventions. Makerspaces provide hands-on, creative ways for students to design, experiment, and invent as they engage in science, engineering, and tinkering.
Be sure to visit Frey’s Makerspace in our 21st Century Learning Commons!
Also, please consider donating items to Frey’s Makerspace! We will continuously need donations for the makerspace as well! Think about donations similar to the STEM lab! Feel free to donate art supplies, duct tape, pipe cleaners, craft sticks, plastic baggies, rubber bands, straws, glue, cotton balls, string and plastic cups! If you can create something out of it, then consider donating it! Donations will be going on year-round, and you can drop off donations in the learning commons. Thank you in advance for your help with this!
